Rabbi Madeline Cooper serves as Manager of Community Cultivation at the Center for Small Town Jewish Life, in partnership with Jewish Federations of North America, where she directs the Makom Fellowship, supporting leaders of small, rural, and remote Jewish communities nationwide. She received her rabbinic ordination from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, where she studied as a Wexner Graduate Fellow and received M.A. in Jewish Nonprofit Management from the Zelikow School at HUC-JIR. Madeline graduated from Dartmouth College in 2016 with a major in History and minor in Jewish Studies. Prior to attending rabbinical school, Madeline served as the Director of Education at the Upper Valley Jewish Community (now Kol Ha’Emek) in Hanover, New Hampshire. Madeline lives in Brooklyn, New York.
