Rabbi Shua Brick is the Director of Family Learning at the Beth Jacob Congregation of Oakland, and Jewish Studies Faculty at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay. A Wexner Graduate Fellow, he received Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshiva University, where he went for high school and undergrad, as well as pursued a dual masters in Jewish Philosophy and Jewish Education. His love for experiential education and summer camp has led to him serving as upper staff in Camps Dora Golding, Ya’alozu, I.O., Stone, Wildrose, and Nageela, and he is always looking for new and exciting challenges. Shua hails from West Hempstead, New York. Previously the Rabbinic Intern at the Jewish Center of Manhattan, and writer for the Office of the President of YU, Shua is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be teaching Torah and creating community in the Bay Area, which he gleefully refers to as his happy place.
