Rabbi Adam Kligfeld has served Rabbi Adam Kligfeld has served as the Senior Rabbi of Temple Beth Am, in Los Angeles, for 16 years, after working for 9 years at Congregation Eitz Chaim in Monroe, NY. Having grown up in Connecticut, and having studied Jewish History and Psychology at Columbia before pursuing the rabbinate at JTS, Rabbi Kligfeld, now deep into his 2nd decade of service at TBA, focuses his time on curating innovations in the prayer and spiritual life both within TBA and beyond; developing his own mindfulness practice and suffusing his rabbinic work with it, yearly congregational travel to various worldwide destinations of Jewish interest, mentoring current and former rabbinic interns, engaging in robust education regarding and advocacy for Zionism and the State of Israel and teaching Torah to his congregants and to many online, week in and week out. He is married to Havi, a Couples Therapst, and father to Noa, Ayden and Lev.
