Rabbi Lindy Reznick, educator, dancer, writer, and community builder, always dreamed of creating meaningful experiences for people of faith while crafting uplifting spiritual community. In 2022 she took the leap to start building Bet Ahava: Love Lives Here; A Jewish Interfaith Spiritual Community that opens hearts and builds connections for all who are seeking more meaning and peace in their lives. Thirteen years of rabbinic experience made Rabbi Lindy crave creating this bold, LGBTQIA+ friendly, artistic, spiritual community without walls. She will continue to develop Bet Ahava through the Atra fellowship.
Rabbi Reznick believes in connecting others to the richness & beauty Jewish tradition has to offer through text exploration, artistic expression, meditative experiences and uplifting song and music. She is passionate about helping people to find peace, connection and lasting spiritual practices to create wellness.
Most recently, Rabbi Reznick can be found teaching at the University of Redlands. She served as Senior Rabbi of Congregation Emanu El of Redlands California, was the Director of Jewish Studies for the Milken Community Schools, and served as Rabbinic Educator for Wilshire Boulevard Temple.
Rabbi Reznick was ordained from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and is a proud member of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and Southern California Board of Rabbis. When not teaching, leading, or praying, she can be found exploring the beauty of our national parks, dancing her heart out, or meditating anywhere.
