Louis Polisson is a musician and rabbi, ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary in 2018, where he also earned an MA in Jewish Thought focusing on Kabbalah and Ḥasidut. Louis grew up in the New Haven, CT area where he was involved with NFTY. In 2012, he earned a BA in Classical Studies from Brandeis University, where he met his wife Gabriella Feingold in Manginah, the co-ed Jewish a cappella group. Supported by a Yeshivat Hadar Alumni Micro-Grant, Louis and Gabriella recorded an album of original Jewish and American folk music, released in November 2018.

Louis currently serves as the Associate Rabbi and Music Director at Congregation Beth Sholom in Teaneck, NJ. He previously served for five years as the solo clergy of Congregation Or Atid,  a small Conservative synagogue in Wayland, Massachusetts (15 miles west of Boston).
