Alisa, co-founder of the boutique legal search firm Greene-Levin-Snyder, is an executive recruiter specializing in partner and senior level searches. Prior to founding the firm, Alisa practiced law at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton and White & Case. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Chief Judge Charles D. Breitel of the New York Court of Appeals. Alisa has a long history of involvement in the Jewish community. She is currently Board Chair of Honeymoon Israel and on the boards of the Jewish Community Relations Counsel of New York, the Israel Policy Forum, and the Center for New Jewish Culture. Over the past twenty-five years she has held numerous leadership positions at UJA-Federation of NY, including Chair of the Annual Campaign, Chair of the Commission on the Jewish People and Chair of International Planning and Allocations. Alisa is also dedicated to Brooklyn. Her many civic involvements include serving as inaugural Co-Chair of the Artists’ Circle campaign at the Brooklyn Academy of Music and as Founder of the Lawyer Partnership at the Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service. An avid supporter and life trustee of the Berkeley Carroll School, Alisa was President of its Board for five years. She lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn with her husband, Charles Nathan and her French bulldog, Marnina. Alisa is a graduate of the Joint Program between Columbia and Jewish Theological Seminary and St. John’s University Law School, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review.
