Heather Bogdanoff Baker devotes much of her professional time to supporting nonprofit organizations focused on a wide spectrum of issues including education, healthcare, the arts and Jewish communal life. Heather is the president of the board of directors of the Center for Hearing and Communication, a leading center for addressing hearing loss and deafness. Heather serves on the board of overseers at NYU Langone Medical Center. Additionally, Heather is a board member of Park Avenue Synagogue; Northwestern University, her undergraduate alma mater; the Collegiate School and the Shed, a leading contemporary cultural arts center in New York City. Heather’s Jewish philanthropic work has a substantial focus on better understanding the nuanced needs for American rabbinical leadership across diverse communities and strengthening the rabbinic pipeline in the United States.
Heather received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and a PhD in clinical psychology from American University. Heather, her husband and her three sons live in New York City.
