Isaiah Beenhouwer is the Administrative Assistant at Atra: Center for Rabbinic Innovation
Isaiah’s relationship with values-based Jewish community work began at Jewish summer camp. In his case, Habonim Dror Camp Gilboa, where he arrived as a 12-year-old camper and never left. The youth-led model of Gilboa shaped how he thinks about organization, facilitation, and the power of building something together. Over the years he grew into an educator, served as the Youth Director, the Assistant Director of Operations, and currently serves on the Gilboa board. He is now bringing that same passion for community building and his organizational skills to Atra. After graduating from Reed College in 2023 with a major in American History and a minor in Ceramic Arts, Isaiah moved to New York, where he continues his artistic practice in the studio.
