Rabbi Ben Berger is the Senior Vice President for Education, Community, and Culture at Hillel International, overseeing the Centers for Jewish and Israel education, Meyerhoff, Social Impact, and Staff & Student Wellbeing. His work focuses on student experiences, educator development, and movement culture, including student learning cohorts, professional development, bridge-building, and wellness initiatives.
Ben has extensive experience in the Hillel movement, having worked at Cornell, Michigan, and Ohio State. Previously, he was Director of the Wexner Heritage Program at The Wexner Foundation, strengthening Jewish volunteer leadership across North America. Ordained by Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, he is dedicated to expanding Jewish learning and community engagement.
Ben lives in Washington, DC, with his wife Rachel, also a Hillel International professional, and their four daughters.
