Navigating Kashrut – The Center for Applied Torah

About The Cohort

In this inaugural cohort of The Center for Applied Torah, Atra is partnering with The Hadar Institute to support rabbis navigating questions related to kashrut in their communities.

This cohort is designed for rabbis and Jewish spiritual leaders working in pluralistic Jewish spaces – on campus, in community centers, in small towns, or any place where diverse Jewish practice meets lived reality.

What’s Involved

Throughout the experience, you’ll have steady touch points to reflect, refine, and reimagine together. Each month will include opportunities to meet in a Community of Action and Practice (CoAP), engage in rich content learning, and apply new approaches in your own community.

Your Commitment

  • 3 hours per month of active learning and peer collaboration.
  • Time to test and refine ideas in your own community.
  • A closing siyyum to reflect, share learnings, and look toward the future.
  • Willingness to engage wholeheartedly with a diverse cohort.
